Eliza Harrison Smith releases new EP "The Way I'm Wired"

Nashville-based rising indie-pop artist Eliza Harrison Smith will release her new five-song EP, "The Way I'm Wired", on January 31st. After growing her audience with a string of well-received singles like "Back Of My Mind" and "Didn't Love Me", the singer aims to make her mark on the indie scene with her first major project.
"The Way I'm Wired" invites listeners on a journey through introspection, self-betterment, and the complexities of mental health, balancing heavier lyricism with hooky melodies and breezy indie-pop production. Recorded and produced in Nashville by Christian Harger, the EP has the clear caliber of a Nashville-recorded project while retaining the organic feel of a bedroom pop record. Notable personnel include pop/rock artist Patrick Droney, who played electric guitar on the closing track, "Supposed To Be Happy".
Smith says of the project, "This is the most vulnerable, honest body of work I've put out so far, and it also feels like the truest representation of my artistry, production-wise. After writing the song Bring You Down, I was inspired to start creating from a more introspective place, and that kind of snowballed into a whole EP."
Singles from the project have been well-received by listeners and industry insiders alike, with features on editorial playlists like Spotify's "Fresh Finds" and Apple Music's "New In Alternative". Smith's Spotify monthly listeners have just topped 60k in anticipation of the release.
